Point Line Plane

This drawing represents point. Point has been used in this drawing to create visual interest and create a sense of movement. These points are arranged in four clusters, which shows collections of points positioned together which decreasing by size. This creates a sense of movement from big to tiny points. The use of density gives the illusion of form and texture. Larger dots create a sense of mass while scattering smaller dots create sense lighter quality. The arrangements of circular points in pattern suggest a feeling of flaw.
This drawing represents line. Lines are drawn as curved, irregular, and handrawn. These lines create the illusion of 3D volume and form. The direction, thickness, and curvature of lines create motion within the artwork. Repetitive use of lines build patterns and suggest different textures.
As overall reflection to my artworks, can say that I have developed my understanding of using point line plane in artworks and importance of these elements in design. I created separate drawings of point, line, plane and then included all three elements together to create a drawing within all elements. It was a little challenging to draw all four drawings in bigger framal references compared to rough sketches, which were smaller frames. That's why, same textures, positions, vision were hard to maintain.

My favorite is the second painting. It fully demonstrates the expressive potential of line. The artist creates a space imbued with depth and fluidity through the use of curved, overlapping, and shifting lines. The contrasting thicknesses and shifting directions of the lines imbue the painting with a strong sense of rhythm and dynamic balance, while also suggesting three-dimensional volume and the effects of light and shadow. The varying shades of light and dark enhance the three-dimensionality of the painting, transforming lines from mere flat elements into media that shape space and mood. The contrasting black and white colors and the transitional areas between the lines create a textured feel, giving the work a blend of abstract beauty and structural power.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite one would be the plane you did great on all of them and dont need to work on anything the plane one is really neat overall you did great.
ReplyDeleteMy Favorite Painting would most definitely have to be the 2nd one. The art of the lines and or texture that the artwork is honestly astonishing as it has a special sort of feeling to it making the ribbon like objects to have a sort of aquatic feeling like the surface of water at knight. My least favorite and only because its the only one that isn't the best like the others is 3rd one. Althought i absolutely adore the shading and making of the Blocks it has a sort of emptiness and i feel like a little more could have been added like more texture and or objects
