Exploring the Elements of Design

Composition- composition is putting things together. These windows are arranged together with same shapes and colors.
Contrast- White boards are the examples of contrast where two colors, white and gray are strategically used to create visual interest.

Balance- The black tiles represent balance of visual weights of color, shape, and texture.
Emphasis- The only printer on the desk with a lot of computers suggests emphasis with drawing viewer's eye to it.
Proportion- The clock with the surface behind it shows proportion where the clock fits naturally within the frame, demonstrating correct size relationships.
PatternThis drawing of a book shelf repeats similar shapes or sections in an organised way. The repetition creates a recognisable pattern.

RhythmThe rhythm drawing of same desks uses repeated shapes spaced evenly, creating a sense of movement. The eye flows from one shape to the next, similar to a visual beat or rhythm.

Unity-  The unity drawing shows the floor that look connected through similar shapes and spacing. Everything works together as one whole, making the design feel complete.

VarietyThe variety drawing includes different shapes and details from the ceiling within the same grid. Where it shows different shapes of lights
