                                                                                Repetition  The artwork above demonstrates the use of Repetition in design. Repetition is the intentional reuse of elements like shape, size, color, texture, direction, position, space and gravity. In simple word, if we use the same form more than once in a design, we use it in repetition. This artwork has been o rganized within a 4x3 grid structure, outlined by a thick dark border.  Each of the nine squares contains a different abstract pattern or element.  Six  squares feature large circles with various shading and internal lines.  Four squares are filled with intersection of straight black lines. Interrelationship of Forms

       Detachment In Detachment  forms remain separate from each other although they may be very close together. This artwork  shows detachment through the physical separation of one object from the others.  A single, vertical block is shown floating in the air, completely separated from the two rows of horizontal blocks below it.  There are no lines, shadows, or other visual cues connecting the top block to the others.  Other eleven small boxes also are separated from each other. Shadows were used in all boxes to show them separated from each other.
